Intro: A great item to make at your next party or family get together is this 7 layer dip. It will be hard for anyone to resist this dip. Follow these steps to make a 7 layer dip.
Step 1: Spread refried beans onto a baking dish. Make sure you spread the beans evenly across the bottom.
Step 2: Add a layer of sour cream on to the beans. 8 ounces should be enough sour cream but you can use more depending on the size of the dish you are making the dip in.
Step 3: The next layer will be a layer of Guacamole. You can either buy this or make it homemade.
Step 4: The next layer should be a layer of salsa. You can use hot or mild depending on the preference of you or your party guests eating it.
Step 5: The next layer in the 7 layer dip will be cheese. Add some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa.
Step 6: Chop up some lettuce very well and use it for your 6th layer.
Step 7: Dice up some tomatoes, add this final layer to your dip, serve with tortilla chips, and enjoy!
Tips: To make a 7 layer dip, you need 7 layers but they do not have to be the exact same layers as I described above. You can try olives, onions, green onions, liquid cheese, and etc.
Keep your dip in the fridge but make sure you let it sit at room temperature for an hour before your guests arrive.
