How to Make Peanut Butter Playdough you can Eat

Peanut butter playdough you can eat is a great enjoyable project for a rainy day when the kids are cooped up inside and needing something different to try. This tasty, fun and easy to make recipe for edible playdough will keep them busy for awhile. This is a great recipe for children who are over two years old, but be sure they are not allergic to the peanut butter. It is entertaining to play with, the kids will enjoy getting creative and when they get tired of playing and being imaginative they can settle down and enjoy a great tasting treat.

Recipe for peanut butter playdough you can eat

1 cup peanut butter

2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup of honey

Equipment you will need:

Wax paper

Large bowl with spoon

Equipment you can use for added fun with the peanut butter playdough you can eat

Rolling pin

Cookie cutters

Step One:   Mix together the peanut butter, honey and powdered sugar

Step Two:   Put out on wax paper

Step Three:  Instruct the kids to wash their hands.

Step Four:    Invite them to play with the playdough. Get out the rolling pin and let them get creative,

Step Five:    They can roll out snakes and balls, and use cookie cutters to make yummy cookies of different shapes                             which are both, fun to make and fun to eat.

Step Six:      Let them eat their creations.

Tip:

Put leftover peanut butter play dough you can eat in an air-tight container or in plastic bags with the air deflated from the bag. Put in the refrigerator and save for another rainy day.
