Butterflies are attracted to flowers that produce nectar. Send out the invitation that says your garden is by far the most delicious in the neighborhood. Serve the butterflies all summer long the nectar that they desire. Here are some tips on how to attract butterflies to your garden.
Purchase assorted perennials and herbs from a nursery or garden center. Many of the labels on the plants will show you the sun requirements as well as a butterfly symbol. This of course is an indication that this plant will attract butterflies. I love butterflies and attract them to my garden by growing the bee balm, chicory , chives , evening primrose , Echinacea,
