Here is how to celebrate Valentine's Day at home:

Step 1

Decorate the Room for Valentine's Day

Push the furniture away from the fireplace and replace the furniture with pillows Light a fire in the fireplace Toss rose petals and pillows onto the floor Light an assortment of rose scented candles Turn off all the lights.  The only light should come from candles or fire. Play love songs so you can slow dance

Step 2

Be with the one you Love

Plan your Valentine's Dinner together and then help each other with the dinner preparation. Set the table and light an arrangement of candles. Share a bottle of wine that you both enjoy Ask your sweetheart to help you make chocolate covered strawberries.  You melt the chocolate and your hubby stirs so that the chocolate is smooth. Take turns at dipping the strawberries into the melted chocolate. When the strawberries are ready take the platter of them to the romance room and eat them in front of the fire.

Tips:

Valentine's Day is a time to slow down, and to show your significant other that you love them.  It is time to kick off your shoes and slow dance by the fire.  To feed each other the chocolate covered strawberries and to forget about everything except the one you love.
