How To Record Hulu Movies and TV Shows

Hulu allows you to watch all types of TV shows and movies from networks like NBC, Fox, and ABC. Internet users can watch and record Hulu TV shows for free, as long as you reside in the United States. To record Hulu TV shows and movies, use video capturing software. Look for an application that records all types of streaming videos that you can save and watch later on your computer or iPod.

Instructions

Step 1:

Download a video capturing software program on your computer from the Internet. Check out software such as Hulu Downloader, Replay Media Capture, Audials and Rip Tiger to record streaming videos. Most video capturing software programs can convert streaming video into FLV file formats, and then you will be able to watch them on your favorite video player.

Step 2:

Click on the software's installation icon. Follow the Installation Wizard's instructions to help guide you on the install process. Look for the video capturing icon on your desktop and click on it.  

Step 3:

Create a new folder where you want to save your recorded Hulu videos. Right-click on an empty space on your desktop. Select “New” from the drop-down menu. Select “Folder” from the menu list and create a name for the folder.

Step 4:

Click on the “Settings” tab and select the “Convert” option for the output format of the videos.

Step 5:

Go to Hulu.com and search for a TV show or movie that you want to record. Press the “Play” button to start the video. The video capturing software will automatically record the streaming video that is playing on Hulu.   

Step 6:

Click the “Save” button after the video capturing software has finished recording. Locate the folder that you created on your desktop. Type a file name in the text box for the recorded video. Click the “Save” button.
