The best place to find software applications for your Android smartphone is on Android Market. Look for software that enables you to connect your Android to Microsoft Outlook. You will have to decide if you want to use a free application, or buy one that's capable of synchronizing your emails, contacts and calendar events with Outlook. You will have to use your Gmail account to log on to Android Market. Then, you will be able to select a software application that's compatible with your Android smartphone.  Â
Instructions
Step 1:
Go to the Home screen on your Android smartphone and tap the “Android Market” icon. Click on the "Gmail" hyperlink and enter your user account information. Then click the "Sign in" button to log on to Android Market. Type the keywords “Outlook Sync” in the text box near the top of the display screen. Tap the magnifying glass (search button) when you're done.
Step 2:
Scroll down the list of software applications until you see one that you want to download. Look for free software applications like Android Sync Manager, Outlook Reflex, and HTC Sync Manager that you can use to connect Outlook with your Android smartphone. If you decide to purchase a software application from Android Market, make certain that you have your credit card information handy to complete the online transaction.    Â
Step 3:
Tap the “Install” button, after you have found an application that you want to use. Then tap the “OK” button to confirm that you want to download the application on your phone.
