HOW TO GET STARTED: Open an account with YouTube. This account allows you to comment, save, like, subscribe to and make a little fan base for yourself even if YouTube isn't a place where you want to upload videos for hits. You can search for a movie, music, news, etc. Your account application will ask if you want your password to fit all of your other Google Accounts as YouTube is a site that belongs to "Google". You will have the option of having a password only specific to YouTube, or to fit all of your google accounts, so make your choice. GETTING YOUR MUSIC, ETC.: When you add your music or any videos to your list, click on "Add to" option (a little below the actual video). This 'drop down' will ask you if you want to add to your favorites or save for later. You can hit either because both will compile a list personal for you. Right under the the video is also a like button. If you like to video, click it and this will also become a file compiled of the videos that you like. GETTING READY TO PLAY YOUR FAVORITES: Click on your Channel. At the upper righthand corner, you will see your image (or a blank image) and the word channel. Click on the drop down arrow. This will produce to the left of it, a line up of videos that will say for instance 'favorites', 'watch later', 'likes', 'history', etc. HEARING THEM ALL: Say for instance you want to listen to your 'save for later' videos that you didn't have time to watch, then click on to that video and it will say either 'all' or 'play all'. At this time your latest to your earliest videos will provide you with a steady stream of your favorites or likes, etc., without you having to search through them! WORD OF CAUTION: Periodically some of your favorite music will disappear which could be attributed to an account holder closing their account, copyright infringements, etc. It's good to check with sites that can order the record(s) for you, but overall, YouTube does deliver.

When you're looking for your favorite vintage and new music, YouTube certainly can shrink the scope of searching. I have found 95% of older and forgotten tunes that maybe no one remembers but me. It surprises me when I find that much of that music has a little 'cult' following too! The point is that if you find some of your favorite 'lost' music, you may want to go to Amazon and find it to actually buy, as well as other Record Shops that specialize in unique vinage music. I found a song that I had searched for since my 23rd birthday party when it simply disappeared! I'm reunited and have had the fortune to actually have it in my possession. You don't have to go through these extremes however. You can simply add that song to "Watch Later" which will preserve it or you can simply "Like" it and before you know it, you have a compilation of your likes.....
