If you are looking for insurance leads methods you can use include direct mail and utilizing the internet. However, one method that is generally no longer used to generate leads is cold calling via the telephone. This means that other ways will be needed to get insurance leads to call or contact you. Step 1 Advertise online using options such as Google Adwords program where you can pay for ads on a “cost-per-click” basis. Your ads will appear next to reach results that are listed on the page. Step 2 Create your own website to provide information about your business and the types of products that are available. You can include information about discounts and other ways to save money on an insurance policy. Your web site should include contact information including a phone number, email address and business location. Step 3 Start a Blog to provide news and updates occurring with your business. You can provide updates about new products that are available or any promotions that are currently being offered. Provide a link in the blog to your web site or other contact information for questions. Step 4 Join a social network site such as Facebook. Many businesses have pages on facebook that are used to provide various news and promotional information. Step 5 Distribute business cards to friends and other local businesses. Business cards are an easy way you can provide contact information to a potential client. Step 6 Use direct mailings to individuals and families in your local area. If you have a list of old clients you can send a postcard with information about the products your agency offers. Provide a phone number or email address where you can be contacted. Warnings Limit the amount of electronic mailings, such as email and Facebook messages, so you do not appear to be spamming other individuals.
