How to Assemble a NordicTrack |

The Nordictrack is a type of training machine which simulates cross-country skiing. This allows you to burn calories while you get a cardiovascular workout. However, before you can use your Nordictrack it will need to be set up in a room in your house. To do this you will need to assemble all of the pieces for the training machine and then learn display of the electronic monitor. Things You'll Need - Exercise mat, rubber or plastic, Wrench Step 1 Place the a plastic or rubber exercise mat on the floor where you want to locate the Nordictrack. This is to protect the floor from scratches. Step 2 Remove the skis from the base of the machine. Lift the upright tube and raise it 1 1/2 feet. Set the front of the exercise machine on the base. Step 3 Place a washer over each of the 3/8-inch bolts included with the machine. Align the mounting holes on the leg assembly with the mounting holes on the frame. Insert the bolts into the holes and tighten using the wrench. Step 4 Insert one of the legs into the leg assembly. Locate the second set of bolt holes that are at the bottom of the leg assembly. Set the elevation of the leg at this location. Repeat this step with the other leg. Secure the legs assembly with the lock pins. Step 5 Position the ski apparatus of the machine by lowering it to the floor. Raise the arm for the ski apparatus until you hear it lock into place. Tighten the knobs to secure the hip pad to the base of the machine. Step 6 Adjust the height of the upright tube by first loosening the tube knob. Push down on the tube until it is at the height you desire. Tighten the tube knob and then set the position of the hip pad. Step 7 Attach the electronic monitor to the machine. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Refer to the instructions for the electronic monitor to set the display.
