Every party needs a vegetable platter with dip. Vegetable platters are very easy to make, but should consist of a lot of different vegetables and dips.
Vegetables on Platter
Some of the vegetables on a vegetable platter should be peeled and chopped up carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, celery sticks, large slices of red and green peppers, broccoli crowns, cauliflower crowns and small cherry and plum tomatoes.
Dips on Platter
The types of dips you want on a vegetable platter are ranch, French onion, honey mustard, Italian and horseradish. You may even add cheese dips too. Some people really enjoy dipping there foods in cheese dips.
Cheese on Platter
Tossing some fresh mozzarella balls onto a vegetable platter is not such a bad idea either since they go excellent with the small tomatoes.
Some garnishes you can toss around the vegetable platter are black and green olives and fresh herbs like parsley, basil and rosemary.
To make a lovely vegetable platter you will need a large vegetable platter plate and some small dip dishes that will fit in the center of the platter.
How to Arrange the Vegetable Platter
Take the platter and place the dip dishes in the center and fill them with dip. Then take your chopped up vegetables and lay them all around the dips. Then place the garnishes wherever you would like to dress the platter up. Its that simple.
