How to Fold a Toilet Paper Origami Sailboatthumbnail Toilet paper origami sailboat

Intro: This is my fourth original design for decorating the ends of hotel toilet paper rolls. This one is fairly quick to do, especially after you've done it a few times. I saw another sailboat design out there, but that one had a main sail and a jib. This sailboat is just flying the main sail. This could be ideal for a hotel near the ocean, or just a hotel housekeeper looking to entertain the guests and encourage tips.

Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Things You'll Need Toilet paper roll 1

Fold the end of the toilet paper roll over at a diagonal lining up the bottom edge with the side. Crease along the fold.

2

Fold the tip up. Keep the mast vertical and position it a little to the right of center. The position doesn't need to be exact. Crease along the fold.

3

Now unfold everything.

4

Fold up along the upper left crease like this. Don't crease all the way across. Just use the creases you've already made.

5

Fold the toilet paper to the right along the crease that was vertical in the last picture to form this shape.

6

Tuck the bottom under to form the water line.
