Ingredients needed for Hershey's Hugs and Kissed Cake: 24 Hershey's Hugs or Hugs With Almonds Chocolates 24 Hershey's Kisses or Kisses With Almonds Milk Chocolates 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened 2/3 cup granulated sugar 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 eggs 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk Frosting Additional Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolates and Hershey's Hugs Chocolates
Directions for making Hershey's Hugs and Kisses Cake: Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Step 2: Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Step 3: Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces; coarsely chop. Step 4: In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Step 5: Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Step 6: Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Step 7: Add flour mixture alternately with milk to butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Step 8: Stir in chopped chocolate candies. Pour batter into prepared pan. Step 9: Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Step 9: Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Step 10: Frost as desired. Step 11: Arrange additional chocolate pieces in heart shape on top of cake.
