Intro: Learn how to solve problems effectively. Your problem solving skills are the most significant tools in your possession. It does not matter who you are or what you do, you will face simple and complex problems as you go through life’s journey. How you deal with these unforeseen challenges will be the determining factor in how successful you become in life. When problems come from all directions and in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, you must be prepared to solve every problem before the problem solves you. You must perfect the skill of solving problems early rather than late, or else your problem will become too great. As you become an effective problem solver, you will begin to create your future and clearly see your destiny rather allowing your future to create you and blind you from seeing all possible solutions. Step 1: Understand, and continually remember, your objectives, rationales, and requirements. You should recognize problems as emergent impediments for accomplishing your objectives, achieving your agendas, and satisfying your unique and uncommon needs. Step 2: Attack your problems one by one when possible. Focus on each problem seriously, with energy, mental clarity, and precision because each problem is specifically designed to destroy your hopes, dreams, and future. Step 3: Study your problem to determine with clarity the type of problem you are fighting against. When you have identified your problem, you should recognize what sorts of actions you must take to quickly solve the problem. Problems should be solved quickly because the longer the problem last the larger the problem becomes. Step 4: Determine what problems are complex and what problems are simple. Set aside the complex problems because you probably have little or no control over them. Concentrate on your efforts on simple problems that you can solve quickly before attacking the complex problems later. This approach is similar to the Blitzkrieg doctrine where you attack the weak points of an army before destroying the rest of the army later. Step 5: Ascertain the information you need to solve the problem and you should aggressively seek that information quickly. This approach is similar to acquiring good intelligence against your adversary to give you an advantage against the enemy. Step 6: Carefully analyze, assess, and interpret the information that you have acquired because this meticulous approach to problem solving will facilitate what reasonable inference you make to solve your problem. Step 7: Know all your problem solving options. What should you do in the short term or long term? Understand your strengths and limitations in terms of financial resources, time, and power. You must evaluate all your options by ascertaining their disadvantages and advantages in every situation. Step 8: Adopt an effective and understandable strategy to solve your problem and follow through on your strategic objectives. This approach may require direct and indirect action or a carefully though-through wait-and-see strategy. Step 9: Finally, anticipate the implications of your problems. when you act upon your problem, monitor the implications of your action as they begin to unfold because for every action you make there is an equal and opposite re-action. Always be prepared to revised or adjust your strategy when more information about the problem becomes available to you. Warnings: You should never allow your problems to increase your stress and anxiety level because high stress levels will destroy you psychologically and physically.
