How to Make Hawaiian Dinner Rolls with Bread Machine

 

This easy recipe for Bread Machine Hawaiian Dinner Rolls is great served with a meal, as a sandwich or as a bun for your favorite burger. Ingredients are crushed pineapple, pineapple juice, bread flour, butter, egg, powdered milk, yeast, sugar and salt.

Ingredients for making Hawaiian Dinner Rolls:
1-8 ounces can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/4 cup water (70° to 80°)
1 egg
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 to 4 1/4 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions for making Hawaiian Dinner Rolls:
Step 1: In bread machine pan, place ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
Step 2: Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).
Step 3: When cycle is complete, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Step 4: Cover with plastic wrap; let rest for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Divide into 15 portions; roll each into a ball.
Step 6: Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan.
Step 7: Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes or until doubled.
Step 8: Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 15 rolls

Tips:
If you have any leftovers, they are great for making a sandwich or as a bun for a burger.

Warning:
Do not get your water or pineapple juice too hot, or your yeast will not activate.
