FireHow is an online publication website where members write articles in a How-to-format.  These articles are knowledge based and are meant to teach their audience a specific task.   Whenever a person reads the article it counts for a view.   Earning from article views will not make you rich overnight, however over time your money will accumulate.  Learn how to make money at FireHow by follwoing these tips.

Step1

Select a topic for your article that you have knowledge in.  An article written from what you know will be well received by your audience.  Choose a topic that will appeal to the masses or one that is timely such as an upcoming holiday, season or event.

Step 2

Choose keywords that will help your audience to find your article in the search engines.  Write your article around the keywords.

Step 3

Add pictures to your article.  Pictures help to explain the steps to your audience.  Pictures are also indexed in the Google image finder. When people search for a image they may view your picture and when they click on the image they will be directed to your article, thus you gain a view.

Step 4

Share your published article on Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Digg and Google+ By sharing your articles you will increase your views and in return you will make more money.

Step 5

Backlink your articles to related articles, forums and promote your content on Tumblr blogs.  Add your article URL anywhere that you can post a link (without creating spam) and by doing this you will increase your views.

Step 6

Build a network of connections on FireHow.  Look through the community and click onto member’s username.  Read their about me.  If you like what you read then look at their article library.  Choose the topic that interests you.  Read the articles, rate and comment. Then send the member a connection request.

Step 7

Set a goal to support other writers on FireHow.  Read, rate and comment on articles five times a day. Also reciprocate when a member reads rates and comments on your articles. Direct traffic is an a method to increase your views.

Tips:

Edit your article by checking for typos, grammar and word flow before you publish. High quality articles will receive more views.

Write instructional articles that teach a task, do not write articles that are personal, opinions or editorials.

Think action when you are writing your steps, do this by adding verbs. Use a different verb in each step.

Subscribe to your connections, you will then be aware of when they publish new articles.

The more friends you have, the more readers you will have.  Views equals money.

Warning:

Do not spam members to read, rate and comment on your articles.  Avoid sending them links to your articles or messages asking them to read your new articles.  Simply read, rate, and comment (RRC) articles and hope that the member will reciprocate.

Thanks everyone for the your kind comments and the ratings. I think as writers at FireHow it is important to support each other. I hope you all click on the links for Seekyt and IMAutomator as these are the two bookmarkers that I use and I am pleased with them. Seekyt has good SEO rankings and IMAutomator is quick and easy to use plus you get great exposure for your articles bookmarks.
