bossy friend It is not easy to be with bossy people. It gives us stress everyday when we are with them. Sure enough if you don't know how to deal with a bossy individual it will  make you sick the whole day being with that person.  There are ways on how to deal with bossy friend while you maintain your poise and your friendship. Though this is challenging but if would help.

Here are some ways you can do.

1. Stood firm with your  principle in a calm and friendly way.  If you will stand to your principle, the bossy person can not push you against the wall.

Like for example, he will insist  that you should do this and that or he wants you to do something against your will and he will use your friendship as a weapon to make you obey his will,  don't be scared and give in. Stand to your principle and  give  him good reasons why you don't do it.

2. Be Understanding. Most bossy persons are insecure. They want to assert to cover up  their insecurities. They want to feel that they are the winner when somebody gives in to what they want.

Most people who are in this category needs an understanding individual who can deal with their attitude and remain as their friends despite of their bossy attitude.

3. Give him friendly advice to help him realize that by being bossy,  he is driving away people  who loved  him instead of keeping them.  A bossy person needs a friendly advice. A friend who will not judge him of what he is but someone who is there to reprimand him  in a friendly manner.

4. Accept him as what he is and find ways to help him overcome his attitude. By accepting him and giving him advice, you are contributing to his improvement to overcome his weakness and become a better person.

Everybody deserves a chance to improve and become a better person with the help of someone who cares.

Oh, how I have tried. You're very kind but perhaps I've one just too long. We go back forever - back to grade school, but she's impatient, doesn't listen. I had to tell her this summer that her disposition has to be modified. She's trying!
