How to Make Ambrosia Cake |

Ingredients: 2 eggs 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup butter 2/3 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon orange juice (for icing) 1/3 cup powdered sugar (for icing) Step 1: Beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy and white. Step 2: Work the butter until creamy and blend into egg and sugar mixture. Step 3: Sift the flour and baking powder together and add to mixture. Blend well. Step 4: Butter a cake pan and add a graham cracker crust. Step 5: Pour in your cake batter. Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Step 6: Stir together 1 tablespoon of orange juice and 1/3 cup of powdered sugar to make an icing. Tips: Garnish with orange peel or finely chopped nuts, such as almonds. For the holidays, you can use hard candies such as peppermint as a garnish. Jelly beans also make a great garnish. Use colors to suit the holiday. For example, orange and black jelly beans for Halloween or green and red jelly beans for Christmas.  Â
