How to Make 4 Homemade Dips With Cream Cheese

Introduction:  These recipes are for four different homemade dips with cream cheese. Once you taste the delicious homemade dips that you can make quick and easy at home, you will never buy at the store again. I have listed 4 of my family homemade favorites, Cucumber Dip, Carrot Dip, Dill Dip and Spinach Dip.  Enjoy!!

You Will Need For Cucumber Dip:

One 8 ounce package cream cheese - room temperature, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon grated onion, 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce and 1/3 cup finely chopped cucumber  Makes 1 2/3 cups. 

Instructions For Cucumber Dip:

Step 1.  Combine all ingredients, except cucumbers, mixing until well blended.

Step 2.  Stir in cucumbers. Chill several hours or overnight. 

Serve with chips or vegetable dippers.

 

You Will Need For Carrot Dip:

One 8 ounce package cream cheese - room temperature, 1/2 cup finely shredded carrot, 1 teaspoon parsley flakes (or) 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper, 1/8 teaspoon salt and a dash of black pepper.  Makes 1 cup. 

Serve with chips or vegetable dippers.

Instructions For Carrot Dip:

Step 1.  Combine cream cheese and carrots; mix well.

Step 2.  Add seasonings; mixing until well blended. Chill.

 

You Will Need For Dill Dip:

One 8 ounce package cream cheese - room temperature, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons milk, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, 3/4 teaspoon dill weed, 1/4 teaspoon celery salt and 1/4 teaspoon onion powder.  Makes 1 1/2 cups.

Instructions For Dill Dip:

Step 1.  Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise and milk, mixing until well blended.

Step 2.  Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill. 

Serve with vegetable dippers or chips.

 

You Will Need For Spinach Dip:

One 8 ounce package cream cheese - room temperature, 1/2 cup plain yogurt - room temperature, 2 tablespoons milk, one 10 ounce package frozen spinach - thawed - well drained - chopped, 2 hard cooked eggs - finely chopped, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt.  Makes 2 1/2 cups.

Instructions For Spinach Dip:

Step 1.  Combine cream cheese, yogurt and milk, mixing until well blended.

Step 2.  Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill. 

Serve with vegetable dippers or assorted crackers.

 

Tips:  You can use light cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and yogurt and 2% milk  to lower the calories.

Warning: If you make these dips to take to any events, you will be asked to bring them again.
