There are many ways on how to cook fish. Most Asian countries loved to eat fish and they can cook fish in many ways. Fish soup is easierÂ to make andÂ this is very good to go with rice. This is really good when you serve itÂ hot. Many Asian people really loved it and they always have this kind of soup on their table almost everyday.
The ingredients you will need:
1 lb fishÂ (any kind )
a small piece of ginger root
1 small onion
salt to taste
leafy vegetables of your choice ( pechay, malunggay, spinach, etc)
Step 1. Clean the fish thoroughly. Take out the gills, the fins and the internal organs. Cut the fish into bite size thenÂ sprinkle salt over it then set aside.
Step 2. In a kettle boil 3 cups of water. Clean the ginger root and slice it thinly crosswise then set aside. Slice the onions and tomatoes andÂ put it together with the ginger root. Wash the vegetable leaves and set it aside.
Step 3. As soon as the water in the kettle is boiling, add the fish and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until the fish is almost cook then add the ginger, onion, tomatoes andÂ the vegetable leaves then continue cooking. Meanwhile, add a little salt to taste. Cook in medium heat until done. Do not over cook the leafy vegetables.
Step 4.Â As soon as the fish and vegetables are already cooked, take the kettle out from the stove, uncover it. Then serve it hot. This is good with rice or potatoes.Â
Do not overcook the vegetables and fish.
