¬†Crab salad is good eating for sure.¬† You don't have to catch the crab anymore as people used to; buying a good brand of crab or imitation crab meat can work well in this salad.¬† It's easy, quick, filled with good nutritional values...
What you will need:
1 pound of crab meat
3 hard boiled eggs
1/2 medium bell pepper (red, green, yellow)
1/2 small red onion
1/3 tsp of celery seed
3/4 cup of Kraft's Light Mayonnaise (with Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
1 tablespoon Sweet Relish (adjust to your liking)
1 tablespoon Dill Relish¬†¬† (adjust to your liking)
1 tsp of sugar
About 1/2 tsp each of coarse black pepper and salt
1.) Preparing the crab:
Remove crab product and rinse thoroughly and chop into nice sized pieces (about medium). Chop eggs into nice coarse chunks.¬† Add the eggs, onions and green pepper.
2.)¬† The mixture:
Add the Mayonnaise, salt, pepper, celery seed, sugar and mix¬† well.¬† Then add the crab meat.¬† Mix thoroughly.
With all ingredients well blended, refrigerate for at least six hours or over night.¬† Serve chilled on bed of lettuce, with tomato wedges and with your favorite crackers.¬† Drink Iced Tea or Lemonade and enjoy!
*You can also serve in scooped out tomato cups or in Avocados halves
