Step 1:  Gather the ingredients to make cinnamon biscuits.

l/3 cup butter, melted

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/2 tsp. baking powder

3/4 tsp. salt

1/3 cups shortening

3/4 cups milk (approximate)

Step 2:  Melt the butter in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 3:  Mix the cinnamon and the brown sugar together. Set aside.

Step 4:  Measure flour, baking powder, and salt into a medium size bowl.

Step 5:  Cut the shortening into the flour mixture.

Step 6:  Stir in enough milk to moisten the flour mixture until it will easily form a ball. Sprinkle on a little flour if the dough is too moist.

Step 7:  Place the dough on a floured surface, and knead about 10 times.

Step 8:  Roll the dough to a half-inch thickness. Cut biscuits out with small biscuit cutter or a small juice glass.

Step 9:  Dip the biscuits into the melted butter and then into the cinnamon brown sugar mixture, coating all sides.

Step 10:  Bake the cinnamon biscuits in a preheated 450-degree oven, approximately 8 – 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
