While this pie is easy to make, you must plan ahead so it will have time to set before serving. Cherry cream cheese pie is a popular dish when taken to a potluck supper; just make sure to reserve refrigerator space for it until it is time for it to be served. Surprise your BFF! Make and take her this awesome cherry cream cheese pie, and enjoy a girls’ night of fun and calories. Step 1: Ingredients needed to make a cherry cream cheese pie. 1- 8 oz. package of cream cheese 1- 15 oz. can Sweetened Condensed Milk 1/3 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 can prepared cherry pie filling, 1 lb. 6 oz. size 1- 9-inch crumb crust Step 2: Place cream cheese on the counter top to soften. When soft, use a mixer and whip until fluffy. Step 3: Slowly add the sweetened condensed milk while continuing to beat. Beat until well blended. Step 4: Add the lemon juice and the vanilla extract. Blend well. Step 5: Pour the filling into the 9-inch crumb crust, and smooth out the top. (Save the plastic top covering the crust. Wash the top off, and flip it over to use as a raised cover for your pie.) Step 6: Chill at least two to three hours before pouring the prepared cherry pie filling on the top of the cream cheese filling. Step 7: Chill the cherry cream cheese pie for another hour before serving, and enjoy.
