Racing thoughts, heart palpitations, worry, headaches.¬† These are just some of the symptoms of anxiety.¬† It is a Psychological and Physiological experience.¬† It can be mild, it can be acute, it can be constant, it can occur in spurts.¬† It doesn't mean that you are mentally ill.¬† It means that you must find a balance to cope with it...
1.) Understanding what it is:
To understand anxiety is to understand that it is different from simple fear.¬† Fear occurs when there is reason to fear; anxiety occurs without reasoning and sometimes the thoughts project far ahead to possible unpleasant moments and outcomes.¬† It can cause shortness of breath, it can cause rapid heart beats, insomnia, chronic worry which can cause these physical symptoms amongst others.
2.)¬† Feeling helpless in it:
Some people describe the feeling as being in a "Fog", disoriented, racing thought processes, extreme discomfort in social situations, etc.
3.)¬† Looking for help:
Many Medical Doctor can and will suggest treatments for this condition.¬† You can also seek counsel with a Psychiatrist or a Psychologist.¬† They can assess your feelings if you tell them exactly how it makes you feel and prescribe medication if they think that you can benefit from it.
4.)¬† Finding Alternative Help:

5.)¬† It is up to you to want to feel better:
