Bright white eyes are a sign of good health. The white part of your eye is called the sclera. Dull eyes tend to age a person. You may notice that some people, or even yourself may have grayish tints in your eyes. Other people may also have very visible red veins and brown or yellow spots in the sclera of their eye. Your goal is to whiten the sclera of the eyes so that they are big and bright. There are many ways to whiten your eyes. This includes natural and chemical processes.
1. Drink the recommended amount of water daily and get plenty of sleep. Water is what keeps your eyes moist. It also helps to lessen the appearance of the red veins and dull grayish tints in your eye. Sleep helps to rest your eyes. This is the most natural way to whiten your eyes.
2. Use eye drops whenever you feel your eyes getting dry. Eye drops contain a vascular constrictor which will temporarily stop the blood vessels in your eye making the sclera of your eye very white.
3. Use a blue eyeliner or shadow over the lids of your eye. Blue against white has been known to make any white look the whitest. (If you are a male that does not wear makeup, do not worry about this step). Blue eyeshadow or eyeliner on your eyes will make your eye look whiter.
4. If both step 1 and step 2 do not work, you may want to consider surgery. The surgery to whiten your eyes is called IBrite. This surgery consist of removing the top layer of your sclera, which is just a thin membrane, to reveal extremely white eyes. The thin membrane is what holds the veins and brown spots.
