Easy to make Chess Bars

This is one of the simplest kinds of desserts anyone can make. It takes just a couple of ingredients. In just 45 minutes you could be sitting back and enjoying one of the best tasting desserts ever. The best thing about this recipe, is you probably have the ingredients already in your pantry just waiting to be used. My family and I love to make this and sometimes use strawberry or cherry fruit pie filling with the second layer. It tastes amazing!!!!

Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix (any brand is fine).

1 stick melted butter

1 egg

nuts (any kind is fine, you do not have to use them if you do not want to).

8 oz cream cheese

1 box of confectionery sugar

1 tsp vanilla

Mis the cake mix, butter, and egg together. Press that into a 3x9 pan. In another bowl mix together the cream cheese, confectionery sugar, and vanilla. Pour that mixture on top of the first layer that was pressed into the pan. If you to, you can add a pie filling to this now and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool for around 30 minutes and serve.

This dessert is really good served warm, but goes either way. The pie filling gives it that extra little zing. Like I said this is one of the easiest things in the world to make and takes just a small amount of ingredients. You are sure to be asked over and over again for the recipe.
