You will need to preheat your oven to 350º. Grease a 13x9 baking dish and set aside. Mean while in a medium to small pot, mix together butter, cocoa, buttermilk, and eggs. Stir this mixture over low heat until it begins to bubble. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and soda and stir in the vanilla. Pour that mixture in the greased pan. Bake it for a time of 25-30 minutes. You must cool the product completely and then spread the peanut butter on the top of the cake. For the icing, you will need: ½ cup melted buttermilk 6 tbsp. Buttermilk 1 tsp vanilla ¼ cup cocoa 1 cup sweet milk You will combine the butter, cocoa, and buttermilk in a saucepan and stir until bubbly. Remove from heat. Combine the sugar with the bubbling mixture and mix until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and spread over the peanut butter that is on the cake. You will need to let the icing set before serving. It takes around 30 minutes to and hour.
