Fake flowers can of course have their advantages, but nothing can compare the beauty of real flowers. They seem to give a wedding a more romantic feel as well as make the wedding ceremony even more beautiful. There are steps that one should take in order to make sure the flowers look their best on the big day. It is very important to take the necessary steps and preparation in order to maintain the appearance of the flowers and keep them looking their best. You will need a couple of things to make sure the flowers get the best of care. Be sure to gather those things before working with the flowers. If you are going to be making the flower arrangements yourself, you will need to purchase fresh flowers, vases, scissors, flower food and clean cool water. You will start by filling all the vases with the water. Make sure it is enough water to keep the flowers in until the wedding day. Make sure you add the flower food. If you do not have any flower food, you can use things such as 1tsp of sugar. Before you insert the flowers in the water, make sure you cut and remove any leaves from the stem of the flower. You should do this step while holding the flowers under running water that is cold. Be sure to cut the flowers diagonally. It is in the flower's best interest to place them in a cool, dark, damp, place. Make sure there is nothing around them that can help speed along any kind of deterioration. When it comes to setting up the flower arrangements for the big day, make sure to mist them with so water so they can stay fresh and hydrated during the event. Set the flowers up as close to the wedding date and time as possible. Do not place them into any sunlight as this can cause the flowers to bloom and open up even further than what they are and this is not something you want to happen. In order to keep really good maintenance on the flower arrangements, try keeping spare vases filled with water. If you need to take the arrangements for photos then you can remove them from the vases and dry them off. Make sure to return them to the water so they can stay hydrated during the wedding ceremonies. The flowers can make wonderful table centerpieces, just make sure to cut the stems once again before returning them to the water.
