You can still enjoy a great hot dog and hamburger, just make sure to put more toppings like the lettuce and tomatoes on your plate. If you simply cannot go without the bun, then try just eating one hot dog or one hamburger instead of the one of each. Try to skip the sweets. When it comes to the 4th of July, picnics and other gathering include many different kinds of sweets. If you absolutely have to indulge in some kind of sweet item opt for the fruit salads or just get a small serving of some kind of dessert. When you are planning your picnic, try to be as health food conscious as possible. Try to opt for turkey burgers and wheat buns. You may even try a turkey dog, they really are great! Make sure you do not skip meals so you can save calories for one big meal, that simply does not work! Try eating a snack around 150-200 calories before the big event. Then try to stick to your healthy eating plan. It would be in your best interest to drink just water and eat a variety of foods. One of the best things to do is think of your diet like a bank account. Save as much calories and spend less. Eating healthy on the 4th of July is very easy.
