How to Make the Best Sugar Cookies

Soft, chewy sugar cookies. I have looked for that kind of recipe forever then my sister gave me this one and I love it especially during the holiday's when I make a lot of cookie trays for friends and family. Try it you won't need another sugar cookie recipe ever again.

YOU WILL NEED:

1/2 CUP BUTTER FLAVORED CRISCO

1 CUP SUGAR

2 CUPS FLOUR

1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA

1/2 TSP. VANILLA

2 EGGS

2 TBLSP. MILK

1/2 TSP. SALT

1 TSP. BAKING SODA

1 TSP. CREAM OF TARTAR

Directions:

STEP 1. In a large bowl mix Crisco, sugar, vanilla, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar,baking soda, eggs, milk. Cream all these together and when mixed together add the flour.

STEP 2. When done mixing it will make a stiff dough. Preheat oven to 375. Take a spoonful of dough roll into a ball and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

STEP 3. When you have all you balls on the cookie sheet press down the ball slightly. Place in the oven and bake each batch for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and light golden brown and place on counter to cool. When cool place in storage bags or cookie jar. You can also freeze the dough and thaw when you want to make some just thaw and bake. This dough will freeze for up to 3 months.
