Many recipes require the use of mint powder. Of course, it is available at stores, but you can actually make it at home and save your money. Interestingly, it can be rewarding for those who grow mint leaves in their herb garden. The instruction provided here is easy to follow and the powder making session is so much fun that you will not at all get bored. Also the instruction can be quite helpful for those who want to incorporate the powder in their facial mask recipe.
Things You'll Need:2 cups of mint leaves Cookie baking tray Blender Oven Container
Step 1: Wash the mint leaves and dry them thoroughly.
Step 2: Next, spread them on the baking tray. Here for best results, pick a large tray. This will create space for each mint leaf.
Step 3: Place the tray into the oven to bake the leaves until they become crispy. Make sure you keep eye on them to track how they are cooking. You don't want to burn them after all. If you are not an expert cook, you can turn off the oven from time to time and take the tray out to check for the leaves' crispiness.
Step 4: Once they look ready, take the tray out and let it sit in the normal temperature of the kitchen to cool off.
Step 5: Meanwhile, wash the blender jar and dry it out completely with a towel. Make sure not a single drop of water is in it.
Step 6: Now transfer the leaves to the jar and blend them until they look completely powdery.
Step 7: Once they have formed powdery they are ready for use.
Step 8: To save, transfer the powder into a container that can be closed with a lead.
