There are many options for writing articles online. Write articles for Textbroker for upfront pay to supplement your online writing income.

Step 1:

Sign up with Textbroker. Go to textbroker.com and sign up by clicking the Authors link. Fill in all of the information.

Step 2:

Write a sample article. In the sign up process, Textbroker requires writers to write a sample article on one of several topics they list. Be sure to follow their guidelines and write about the topic. Run a spell check to ensure there are no misspelled words. Read the article several times to ensure it is grammatically correct. Fix any awkward sentences or construction.

The sample articles are rated on a scale of 1 to 4. The higher the ranking your article gets, the more money you will earn when writing articles for Textbroker. If you are assigned a level 3 rating, you will be able to write articles in levels 1, 2, and 3. Level 4 articles will be off limits. There are 5 levels at Textbroker, but level 4 writers have to write several client articles to qualify to be considered to be a level 4\5 writer.

Step 3:

Wait for approval and ranking. After submitting your application and writing sample, wait to hear back from Textbroker. You will be either approved or not and if approved, assigned a level.

Step 4:

Send in a W-9 form to Textbroker. After accepted, you will be able to write articles in your level but you will not be paid until Textbroker receives a W-9 form. Mail it in right away so your earnings can be released.

Step 5:

Choose articles from the Assignments tab. The levels are listed along with the dollar amount range that will be paid depending on the word count.

Step 6:

Write quality articles to move up in levels to earn more money.

Tips and Warnings

-  Textbroker pays in upfront payment, not residual income. Clients request articles, Textbroker allows writers to claim and write articles, and the client retains the rights to the articles.
