How to Visit Funtown Splashtown USA in Saco Maine

Funtown Splashtown USA, located on Route 1 in Saco, Maine, is the largest family themed amusement park in Northern New England. This exciting park has rides and attractions for kids and adults of all ages.  If you visit plan on spending the entire day at this park... maybe even the entire weekend!

Step 1:  CHOOSE WHICH PARK!  This park is really two great parks in one.  You have the amusement park which features some of the best kiddie rides and adult thrill rides I've ever seen (and ridden on) in any amusement park.  Then you have the water park with slides for everyone in the family.  And some slides for only the very brave and daring!

Step 2:  LET THE KIDS RIDE!  The kiddie rides include Cactus Canyon, a delightful canoe ride on a man made river... for little kids only!  Then there is Frog Hopper, a small child's thrill ride that let's them experience the feeling of weightlessness with a drop of 20 feet!  There is also the beautiful Funtown Train, the flying Helicopters (kids control how high they go!), the Kiddie Boats, the Kiddie Bumper Boats, the Kiddie Cars, the Kiddie Swings, and don't forget about the 2 fantastic Merry-Go-Rounds!  These are just a few of the wonderful rides for the tiny tots!

Step 3:  LET THE ADULTS RIDE!  If thrill rides are your thing you are in for a very special treat at Funtown USA!  The thrill rides at this park do not disappoint! Let your tummy twist and turn on favorites like The Flying Trapeze, The Dragon's Descent, The Sea Dragon, Thunderbolt among many more classic rides!

Step 4:  SCREAM ON THE ROLLER COASTERS!  Roller coaster enthusiasts will not want to miss the largest and tallest wooden roller coaster in the state's history and the largest in Northern New England... the famous Excalibur!  And there is the Wild Mouse Roller Coaster, a roller coaster with steep hills and dips a twisting hair-pin turns up to 270 degrees!  This one is a family roller coaster you don't want to miss!

Step 5:  CALL AHEAD!  Funtown Splashtown USA is typically open from early May through mid-September.  Dates and times vary so you should check their calendar (see the link below) before you plan your exciting fun filled
outing.

Step 6:  PAY IN ADVANCE!  You can buy your tickets online so there is no waiting at the gate! And Funtown Splashtown USA now offers a bad weather guarantee!  The rates for the park are very reasonable.

Step 7:  GET THERE!  Directions to the park are simple... you CAN get there from here!
