 How to enjoy a rainy gloomy day. You will need to take your umbrella, and go to a lake or pond that actually have fish swimming. Take some food that fish will eat, fish food, sometimes bread, corn bread. 

Throw little pieces of food and watch the fish start to go wild eating and trying to grab the food. Other places you might find a lake or pond is in a reservation area or cemetery.

Try this it will brighten up anytime you want to enjoy a rainy, gloomy day.

Children especially love to do this with adults, just be careful not to get emerged in the water on accident.

Remember not to over feed any fish, you need to avoid this so the fish will not die.

All in all this is a great way to spend some time on a rainy, gloomy day.
