Supplies; round coffee filters, water paints or colored markers, construction paper, scissors, glue or glue gun, small snap shot of yourself, small clothes button. Step 1; Glue your picture to a clothes button. Make sure you use enough glue to make it solid. Set it aside to dry. Step 2; Paint your coffee filter. Set it on some newspaper. Start using water paints to paint the inside ridges of the filter. Use various colors and make it colorful. Do the whole filter, if you want. Set it aside to dry. Step 3; Take your construction paper and paint a stem with green leafs on it. The Stem should be at least 1/2 inch in width. Step 4; Place your filter flower on the stem and glue it in place. Be sure the stem is centered. Set it aside to dry. Step 5; Next, glue your buttoned picture to the center of your filter. Be generous with the glue. Set it aside to dry. That's it you are finished. You can add your name or the name of the person the flower is intended for. At a day camp, this would be a two day project. (Drying time allowable) source; image supplied by Flickr.com
