We all want to be happier and healthier. Sometimes we really don't even think about how we can. We worry we stress, we forbod about the future.Â It's basically a question you have to ask yourself, "am I doing things in my life to make myself happy?" No-one is going to do it for you. Here are a few things you can do to change your way of life from stressed out to calm and happy.
Get more sleep. If your not getting at least 7-8 hours sleep you can be causing yourself a lot more trouble than you realize. Sleep is very iportant for the heart, immune system and basically your mood. Remember your naps too, they renew and refresh.
Take vacations. You will do good for your heart if you take vacations 2 times each year.
Use your vacation and sick days. Use them to relax and enjoy instead of tackling chores you didn't catch up on. If it's nice out, take a walk in the park, go to a museum, have lunch with a friend, just enjoy. More vacation days means less stress.
Exercise. This increases endorphins that give us a natural lift, high and energized mood if you will. It keeps us lean too and lowers our stress levels because it lessen the levels of cortisol which is a stress hormone.
