cut watermelon squared circle by muffetWatermelon in the summer months of June through August, until early Fall, I find quite sweet and juicy.  Find a full or half watermelon and be sure the color is a vivid balanced red, seeds or seedless.........

What you will need:

*  1 Half Cantelope
*  1 Half Honey Dew Melon
*  1 Pound Seedless Green Grapes
*  1 Pound Seedless Red or Purple Grapes
*  2 cups Pineapple Chunks
*  8 to 10 peeled and sliced kiwis
*  Ice Cream Scooper
*  Large Tray
*  A nice little cook-out in the backyard

Make sure all fruit is chilled overnight and wrapped in plastic wrap.  To conserve time, you can cut the honey dew melon and cantelope into chunks before you chill. Have all in separate containers.

Cut out all the insides of the watermelon into cubes and put in a bowl.With the scooper scoop all remaining watermelon to the rind and discard.This will make the shell container look clean and neat. Clean the watermelon outside shell with a soft clean paper towel.

Add the diced melons, cantelope, grapes, pineapple and kiwis. Mix them together into a medley. Cover and return to refrigerator. After the steaks, chops, chicken and burgers are grilled, set the Watermelon Bowl Centerpiece in a large tray in the center of the table.  It adds a delightful, colorful and healthy addition to your table.  Bon apetit!
