How to Write Using A Pencil or Pen

It may seem that learning how to use a pencil is the most simplest process. But do you know that most people hold there pencil or pens wrong. The way you hold a pencil or pen can determine how well your handwriting is. In this article, you will learn the proper way to use and hold a pencil.

1. Figure out what hand you want to write with.

2. Take the pencil or pen and place it in between your index finger and your thumb. Your index finger and your thumb is what will hold the pencil or pen while writing.

3. Practice writing a few strokes of whatever language you use.

4. You will want to practice this everyday. This will also help writing in cursive to come out neater and more legible.

Tip: When first learning to use a pencil or pen with this method, you may find that your hand may tend to cramp up. You may even have a hard bump on the side of your thumb. All of these side effects will decrease over time.
