Toothbrush

You might think that your toothbrush is clean, seeing as how it's always getting sudsy and wet.  But your toothbrush can be carrying germs and can also have a build up of toothpaste on it.  Naturally, if your toothbrush looks bad, you should just toss it and get a new one.  But if your toothbrush is new and you want to clean it, just follow the steps below.  You won't only have clean teeth, but also a clean toothbrush!

Step 1:  Drop a denture tablet in a tall glass of water.

Step 2:  Put your toothbrushes in the glass with the brush side down.

Step 3:  Let the toothbrushes soak over night.

Step 4:  Remove the toothbrushes from the water and rinse them.

Step 5:  Put the clean toothbrushes back where they belong!

Yes, toothbrushes can pick up bacteria not only from our mouths, but also e coli from the air around a flushing toilet! People can actually get very sick from it. Toothbrushes should not only be cleaned, but kept in a closed toothbrush holder if it is near a toilet. Good article on cleaning your toothbrush! 5*

I heard you can even microwave your toothbrush for a few seconds to kill any bacteria. Good tips.
