Don’t throw away that bottle of clumpy nail polish; this is a way to un-clump nail polish.
Old nail polish will get clumpy and sticky and impossible to paint on your nails. When your favorite nail polish turns clumpy simply follow these easy steps and the nail polish will be good as new. This is also a great way to save money and hold onto those nail polish colors that are discontinued.

All you need is a small amount of acetone nail polish remover.

Step 1:  Open the bottle of nail polish and make sure the edges of the bottle and the edges of the cover are clean and free of dried on polish.

Step 2:  Add a couple drops of nail polish remover directly into the bottle of nail polish.

Step 3:  Place cover back onto nail polish bottle and shake vigorously.

Step 4:  Remove cover and test the density of the polish. Dip the brush in and out of the nail polish. Is it still clumpy or is it smooth.  If it’s smooth, you are done! Keep using that great nail polish. If the nail polish is still clumpy, proceed to the next step.

Step 5:  Add a couple more drops of acetone nail polish remover.

Step 6:  Repeat Steps 2, 3, and 4 until your nail polish is smooth.
