nervous stomach

Stress is one of the main causes of illness and like it or not most of us have more than our fair share of stress. This can cause numerous health problems for the individual not the least of which is a nervous stomach.

The symptoms of a nervous stomach can rang anywhere from butterflies to actual nausea and vomiting. In fact the person afflicted may at first believe that they are suffering from the stomach flu, unfortunately a nervous stomach doesn't go away as easily as the flu. This article on how to calm a nervous stomach covers several different ways for you to get relief from a nervous stomach.

Step 1.
Take a few deep breaths and try replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. This does take some practice but will get easier over time.

Step 2.
Use a hypnosis tape on stress relief.  A hypnosis tape usually works quickly to reduce your symptoms of stress, and contrary to what some people might believe hypnosis isn't mind control. Instead it will help to provide you with the tools
to combat and overcome stress.

Step 3.
Drink a soothing cup of tea, herbal teas such as catnip, lemon balm and chamomile are very helpful for soothing jittery nerves.

Step 4.
Take Kava Kava. This herb which has been safely used for thousands of years to treat the effects of stress, works very quickly to calm a nervous stomach. Kava Kava is available as a tea, extract or in capsule form, but the capsule form is recommended as the tea tends to be a little weak and the extract can be rather bitter.

Step 5.
Try and find a solution to your problems. Although some problems cannot be solved and you must instead learn to deal with them, it's usually better if you can find some way to resolve them.

*If your life seems to be out of control it's always best to get professional help.

Nature. Nature is a wonderful way to get away from stress. A small drive away or even the local park. Get away from the normal. Shut off all electronic and enjoy what nature we have.
