Congratulations! You made it through the first interview. Now, they want you to come in for a second interview and maybe a third. Does this mean you could be a lock, for that position you want? Not necessarily. This article will give you some ideas on how to handle yourself, during that second round.

Lunch Interviews
Just because you are asked to lunch, doesn't mean you have your foot inside the door. Lunch interviews are more relaxing and less stressful. They are designed to see how you perform in important social situations. It also helps your future employer, to get a better understanding of your background.

1. Avoid sunglasses. People want to see your face.
2. Avoid heavy perfume or cologne.
3. Follow the conversation lead of your interviewer. If you open the discussion, begin with small talk and then quickly get away from it. Don't start with the weather topic either.
4. Avoid cleavage and chest hair exposure.
5. This is still an ongoing interview. Keep that in mind.
6. Order food that is easy to handle. Avoid alcohol and don't smoke.
7. Cellphone is off before you arrive. Avoid carrying extra bundles.
8. Avoid making comments about the food.
9. Always leave the way that you arrived. Give your goodbyes the same attention as your hellos.

Group Interview
This is when you are introduced to the entire group that could have a vested interest in you. They need to see if you are the fit they are looking for.

1. Be yourself. Don't change stories about yourself. The group is checking your mental ability to remember things about you and the job you are applying for. Stick to your beliefs, but be open minded to change. You could be asked to explain how you would handle a certain situation. Be prepared and conduct your effort aggressively and as close to the point as possible. Use a speaking vocabulary that all understand. Follow the rules observed in the lunch interview.

Case Interviews
This type of interview can be either written or oral. It is set up to see how you would handle certain situations on your future job. If they are oral, be direct and to the point. They are to see how you are under fire and pressure. They aren't looking for the correct answer. They are testing you.

In all second round interviews, they will check your logic. Never show frustration or anger. However, be confident with answers that you give. A second or third interview is no guarantee of a future job. However, it is a major step in the right direction.
