You can lose (or gain) as much as 10 pounds simply by the way you dress and hold your body.¬† If you want to take off visual pounds, here are some things you can do.
Dress Slim.¬† Wear simply straight lines that carry the eye up and down. Wear dark fabrics, and solid colors. Avoid color contrasts between blouse¬†and skirt. Avoid¬† satins or ¬†flimsy¬†materials that cling.¬† Don‚Äôt add bulk or unnecessary frills.¬† Ruffles can add on pounds.¬† Create length.¬† A simple scoop neckline or square neckline and an off-the-neck hairdo with a little bit of height can help give a long look.¬† Think about getting a short hair style.¬† Strive for a long leg and long arm look.¬† Winged or cap sleeves makes the arms look slimmer.¬† Usually a sleeveless dress is not slimming, but you can pull it off if you have shapely arms.¬† Stand slim.¬† Don‚Äôt hunch over.¬† If possible stand with a long line forward.¬† Keep your back straight, your head up, and those double chins will vanish.¬† Slim your face.¬† Darker foundation along the sides of nose, below cheekbones and along the jaw lines slims ¬†and contours.¬† Never clutter neckline with bulky jewelry.¬†
