How to Freeze Strawberries

While strawberries are in season would be a great time to pick and freeze them for the colder months. Here is a super easy way to freeze your berries!

 1.  Remove leaves.

2.  Leave strawberries whole or slice them.

3.  Arrange in a single layer in a plastic zip top freezer bag.

4.  Lable and date each bag.

5.  Place bag on a cookie sheet or lay flat on the bottom of the freezer. Multiple bags can be stacked on one another.

Enjoy your frozen berries in pies, trifles, pancakes, jams and/or smoothies!
