How to save money in thirty days is a simple guide anyone can follow and it does save you money in the long run so why not grab a cup of coffee while you read? After all everyone could use some extra money i tough economic times.

Step 1: Keep a grocery list at all times- Before heading to the grocery store you need to stop what you are doing and check your pantry to see what you need. Once you have gone through your pantry it is then time to get out a pen and paper and write down the items you need. You need to stick to the list and be sure to keep a calendar of what days you will have certain meals and which days you will visit the grocery store for food.

Step 2: If you want to buy something look online- If you want to buy something you can often find it for a discount anywhere online you just got to look around. For instance I wanted a toddler playhouse that costs $500 at sams club but guess what I bought it for only $200 online!

Step 3: Dump the junk- If you have alot of stuff around your house that you don't use then its time to either sell it on ebay or just junk it if it is useless. If you have clothes that have been worn gently you can donate them to the goodwill or even at another thrift store of your choice.

Step 4: Keep the change- For every penny, nickle, dime, and whatever coin you find keep it. You can place the coins in a piggy bank or even in a jar of your choice. When I started keeping my change I ended up with over fifty dollars at the end of the year.
