How to Give a Gift of Cookie Dough

If you enjoy giving gifts from your kitchen, here is an idea for you. Many of us have given away plates of cookies at Christmastime. How about giving a roll of your homemade cookie dough?

1. Make your favorite cookie dough.

2. Divide dough into 3 or 4 equal portions. (Depending on how big your batch is)

3. Shape each portion into a roll, about 8 to 10 inches in length.

4. Wrap each roll in waxed paper and freeze.

5. When ready to give it, wrap it into aluminum foil and then into fabric or colored plastic wrap. Tie the ends with ribbon or pipe cleaners and attach the baking instructions.

6. Now you are ready to give your gift!
