How to help your child academically

   In this day in age it is hard to keep our children interested in school. It tends to be a hard thing to do because of the many distractions that face them before, during and after school. This gives us as parents alot of work to do when it comes to keeping them focused. Children of all ages thrive on making their parents proud. So we must show them our interest and approval in what they do every chance we get.

Step 1 What hard work amounts to .Sit down with your child at the beginning of the school year and set a schedule for the two of you to get together and discuss school academics and needed help.

Step 2  Not being involved could cause discouragement .Make it a point daily to discuss with your child's school activites of the day.

Step 3  Anytime a milestone is made then there should be time set aside for rewarding the both of you for dedication and hard work.
