If you have a computer that is no more than 2 years old you probably know about the upgrades available for you to use in order to make your computers performance more improved. Out of the three possible upgrades they all will be more inexpensive than if you were to buy a new computer.

 Step 1

With the newer computers we all can enjoy playing DVD's on them, it would be even better to be able to store the data from our computer on DVD. This is more economical and inexpensive as well. You can add an external or internal DVD+/RW which is a read /write drive for less than $100.00.

Step 2

Maximizing Memory. To get your computer to process data faster , you will need to add random memory also known as RAM. This will also prevent your computer from crashing when you are trying to open several programs at one time. You will need about 512 megabytes of RAM. Your out of pocket cost will average from about $50 to $125.

Step 3

Upgrading your hard drive will give you more storage space  which will allow you to hold more music and more pictures. Your computer will also open these files alot more faster. It's inexpensive , the pricing would range from $80 to $160 depending on how much space you are needing

Upgrading your RAM and HDD is a great way to improve the performance of your pc. Vista should run at least 3gb and with a 7,200rpm HDD but a 10,000rpm is even better and it doesn't cost that much to upgrade a pc especially if you order your parts from www.tigerdirect.com thats where I normally buy my stuff from.
