Step 1: Divide Long Numbers- If you find that you are having a hard time remembering long lists of numbers or even phone numbers then you need to divide the number into sections for instance try to remember three numbers at a time.
However if your memory is really shot you might want to memorize each number one at a time and be sure to repeat it out loud and to yourself a few times.
Step 2: Practice Writing Things Down- Research has found that when you write things down and put it on your front door or even by the phone you can slowly retrain your brain to remember things, but it helps if you repeat the important events in your head throughout the day and if you forget you can just look on the door or by the phone.
Step 3: Think Of Names- Alright when it comes to names you can try to obtain a picture of the person and write the name of that person on the back of the photo and turn it into a game.
You can also repeat the name to yourself and visualize the person's face. In time your memory will improve.
