Intro: The Shamrock Game is a great little game for younger kids to play. Not only do they get to decorate the Shamrock Baskets, they also get to find four leaf clovers! Everyone loves to find the lucky four leaf clovers and pieces of gold. Give this game a try at your child's St. Patrick's Day party, it's sure to be a lot of fun! Instructions Things You'll Need: Paper Cup Tissue paper Pipe Cleaner Hot Glue Green Shamrocks or Construction paper Gold covered candy or Gold paperStep 1 The first thing you need to do to play the Shamrock game is make your Shamrock basket. Step 2 Once the Shamrock Baskets are made you need to set up the Shamrock game. If you are lucky enough to have great weather and have shamrocks growing in your yard Mother Nature has done all the hard work for you. If not you will need to either find small shamrocks from your local craft store or you can cut small shamrocks from green construction paper. You can also Use gold circles or small gold foil covered candies to represent cold. Just scatter the shamrocks and gold around for the children to find. If you have older children you can make it a little harder to find but keep in mind you don't want to be finding shamrock's next winter. Step 3 After you have the game set up and the shamrock baskets ready to go all you have to do to play the Shamrock Game is let the children find the shamrocks and gold. You can have prizes for the child that finds the most shamrocks and gold or just leave what they find as the prize.
