If you have old records lieing around and do not want to get rid of them, but they are taking up space, you can make a record bowl out of them. This is very easy to do and takes very little time to make them.

You will need:

a record

a stove to use

a cookie sheet

2 oven safe bowls, one slightly larger than the other

over mits

On a cookie sheet, place the oven safe bowl upside, with the bottom facing upwards. Place the record on top and make sure that it is centered on the bowl.

Place in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and gently shape the record over the bowl. It will be hot, so use oven mits.

Once you have it gently shaped over the bowl, place another bowl over the top of the record and over the bowl beneath. This will push the edges of the record down over the bottom bowl and create a bowl shape. Let this site for 10 minutes more. If the bowl cooled too fast, you can place back in the oven for a few minutes to soften the record back up so that it will form around the bottom bowl.

Now remove the top bowl and the bottom bowl. Turn the record over and you have a record bowl.
